The Associates of Epping Forest Field Centre are dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for the work of the Field Studies Council at FSC Epping Forest .The objective is to link the community with FSC Epping Forest and promote community engagement.

Why the community needs us

The Associates of Epping Forest Field Centre deliver projects and community activities, specifically for disadvantaged children, young people and families, and children with special needs.

The projects we fund target children with little or no experience of the natural world and provide opportunities. There is a significant body of evidence that converges around the principle that taking children out of the classroom or providing outdoor learning experiences has a positive impact including raising self-confidence, academic achievement and behaviour.
